Manugraph, which recently diversified to flexible packaging, has sold its first CI flexo press, CyberFlex 1708-850, to Roorkee-based Osho Flexibles Limited. Speaking about the brand new press, Avneet Gupta, Osho Flexibles, said, “The quality of the CI flexo press by Manugraph, together with Carraro’s long standing experience in mechanical sturdiness, innovation, versatility and easy handling, were key reasons why we purchased the press. In addition, we could buy it in Indian currency, making it a very visible option for us and best of all, we have Manugraph’s top-class sales and service support in India which we are very happy about.”

According to Pradeep Shah, managing director of Multigraph, the installation of the press at Osho is already under process. Multigraph is the global marketing and sales partner of Manugraph for CI flexo. Manugraph has entered into a strategic alliance with Italy-based CI flexo press manufacturer Carraro to commence the manufacturing of CI flexo press in India at Manugraph’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Kolhapur. Manugraph is a leading manufacturer of web offset presses since 1972.

Carraro is a pioneer in making flexo presses and the collaboration will features Carraro’s long standing experience in mechanical and electronic sturdiness, versatility and easy handling, together with Manugraph’s detail for quality, precision and modern engineering. “The core of the collaboration is technology transfer by Carraro to build high-quality CI flexo presses in India. Under the collaboration, we get the drawings, know-hows and training from Carraro,” said Shah.

“Our goal is to make indigenous CI flexo presses of same quality and standard as European brands. Our objective is to satisfy every customer by delivering proper service and support which has been the backbone of Manugraph all these years. We will translate this into the CI business as well,” explained Shah. “We will also export our CI-flexo presses to many parts of the world.”
