Provident launches eco-friendly end seal with 30% recycled rubber

Provident has introduced a new eco-friendly end seal that is made with 30% recycled rubber and is designed to bring both together in a way that supports today’s pressroom demands. The new seal was launched at FTA Infoflex on 27-28 April 2026.

“By transforming discarded materials into a product that offers superior ink containment and fewer press changeovers, we’re not just launching a new product; we’re inviting our customers to experience the future of our sustainable initiatives, without sacrificing high-performance printing,” said Tim Allen, director of sales.

From compatibility across major press platforms to reliable performance with water-based, UV, LED-UV, and solvent inks, it’s designed to integrate seamlessly into existing workflows while supporting more sustainable practices.

Designed with a felt top, the seal is compatibile with all major presses, including Windmoeller & Hoelscher, Uteco, PCMC, and SOMA. According to the company, it is also designed to offer long-lasting performance and durability. These seals are suitable for use with all ink types, including water, UV, LED-UV, and solvent-based inks. To help with efficiency and ease of use, each end seal is pre-lubricated with a food-grade lubricant that meets food packaging standards.
