Surat-based Progressive Printing Press has invested in a RMGT 790ST-4XL+IR+OC+SLD press. The installation of the new press is expected to be over by June 2019. The latest addition will mean Progressive has now installed 4 RMGT presses in less than four years. With the installation of the 4th press, Progressive is hoping to improve both its printing capacity and quality.

Progressive installed its first RMGT press, a 924(4-D) in August 2015, followed by 920ST-4+IR+OC+SLD in November 2016, and 760ST-5XL in May 2017. Progressive mainly prints brochures of Indian national costume. And, since it was happy with the performance of the previously installed RMGT presses, it decided to have another more advanced RMGT press, a 790ST-4XL+IR+OC+SLD, for its growing needs.

According to Ryobi MHI Graphic Technology (RMGT), the Printpack 2019 exhibition held in Greater Noida, India, has given good returns. Its India distributor, Provin Technos, aggressively followed up the hot sales negotiations which have been mainly generated at Printpack 2019 exhibition and achieved excellent sales results in April and May 2019. In just one month recently, Provin Technos has managed to finalize orders for four RMGT presses – RMGT 760ST-4XL, 790ST-4XL+IR+OC+SLD, 920ST-4+CD, and 920ST-5+IR+CC+SLD – in India. Of these machines, two each will be installed in North and West India respectively.

Speaking about the market, Vinay Kaushal of Provin Technos said, “At this moment it seems everybody is waiting for election results to come. However, from the number of machines coming in, the start has been definitely good for all.”
