Print O Land strengthens print portfolio with Komori Lithrone LS 429 and G37

-

Print O Land, an offset printing company based in Jaipur, has been using two Komori sheetfed offset presses – a Lithrone LS 429 and a Lithrone G37 – for its commercial and packaging printing work. The company acquired the Lithrone LS 429, a four-color Komori sheetfed offset press, in 2010. According to Vikash Agrawal of Print O Land, the machine has performed well over the years, offering features such as fully automated plate mounting and closed-loop color management. Based on this experience, the company purchased a newer model, the Lithrone G37, last year.

The two Komori presses currently handle the bulk of Print O Land’s commercial and packaging jobs, alongside four other offset presses in the company’s machine portfolio. Agrawal said that with the installation of the Lithrone G37, the company has expanded its ability to handle a range of stocks for new applications in both the commercial and packaging segments.

Agrawal described the Lithrone G37 as suited to high-efficiency production. The 37-inch press is engineered to operate at a maximum print speed of 15,000 sheets per hour, handling sheet sizes up to 640x940mm and stock thicknesses ranging from 0.04mm to 0.6mm, which the company said allows it to produce varnish and specialty finishes.

Print O Land was founded in 1977 under the mentorship of P. N. Agrawal and now employs more than 20 commercial printing and packaging professionals. Its clients are drawn mainly from the textiles, jewellery, and arts sectors.

Looking ahead, Agrawal said the company plans to continue adding newer machines and technologies to improve its print quality and output. “Doubtless to say that we will never stop upgrading our machine portfolio with timely additions of more advanced and capable machines, unquestionably from Komori India,” he said.

Agrawal also noted that the company has been satisfied with the post-sales support provided by Komori India’s service team in helping it operate the machines at full productivity. Print O Land bought the Lithrone LS 429 from a Komori channel partner in 2010, prior to the 2018 launch of Komori India, a wholly owned subsidiary of Komori Corporation of Japan.
