Pragati books third SBL postpress equipment

-

Hyderabad-based Pragati Offset has placed an order for its second diecutter from SBL, Taiwan. This is Pragati’s second SBL post-press equipment after it had invested in another SBL diecutter with stripping capability during PrintPack India in February 2017.

Speaking to THE PACKMAN, Muralidhar Nalli, managing director, Techno Graphic Services (TGS), which represents SBL in India, said, “This is Pragati’s second SBL diecutter. It has stripping facility and comes with additional features like 300 mm elevated base, A-flute device, single-sheet detector. The machine will be commissioned in January 2018.”

In addition to the two diecutters, TGS had also sold an SBL 1050 hot-foil stamping machine to Pragati during drupa 2016.

Besides the three machines at Pragati, TGS has installed a SBL folder-gluer with four and six corners attachment and bag making capability at Hyderabad’s Caxton Printers, a SBL diecutter at Kolhapur’s Premier Printers.

Techno Graphic Services represents five Taiwanese post-press machine manufacturers in India – SBL Group, Golden Tec Machinery, Datien Industrial Company, Wen Chyuan and Fulontek Enterprises. The company will exhibit its range of Taiwanese postpress offerings at Pamex 2018 (Hall 1 Stall J70).
