Pioneer Arunachalam Packaging, a well-known brand in the southern Indian label manufacturing sector, has consistently been a leader in providing exceptional labels that surpass the competition and capture attention. At the heart of their ability to create outstanding labels lies their skilled team of printing and production experts, supported by a range of state-of-the-art presses and post-press machinery. One of their newest additions is the cutting-edge Rhyguan Plus-420 converting and finishing machine.

Flexo Image Graphics (FIG), one of the largest distributors and service providers of flexo presses and related equipment in the Indian sub-continent, supplied and installed the new Rhyguan Plus-420 converting and finishing machine at Pioneer Arunachalam Packaging. FIG is known for its expertise in the industry and represents a range of globally recognized brands. In addition to Rhyguan, they are authorized distributors for other leading machines such as Mark Andy, Rotoflex, Luster, Kluge, KDS Quantum, and Presstek.

“We have had a longstanding relationship with FIG, which dates back to 2009 when we initially acquired a Mark Andy label press from them,” says Arun Tenzing, director of Pioneer Arunachalam Packaging. He further adds, “In addition to their impressive range of advanced and versatile machines, we are extremely pleased and satisfied with the exceptional after-sales technical support provided by their team, led by Mr. M Suresh. Their expertise and guidance have been instrumental in helping us understand the technical intricacies and ensuring smooth operation of the machinery they have supplied.”

Dharmaraj N, general manager of Arunachalam Packaging, expresses his satisfaction with the partnership between FIG and their company. “Having maintained a cordial partnership with FIG for several years, we made the decision to acquire our second machine from them, which was the Rhyguan Plus-420 converting and finishing machine,” he says. “This Rhyguan machine, sourced from FIG, has proven to be highly cost-effective and user-friendly. Its advanced features enable us to engage in high-precision slitting, ultimately leading to the production of exceptional labels.”

The Rhyguan Plus-420 converting and finishing machine is specifically designed with a servo-driven semi-rotary die-cutting unit that features independent re-registration and tension control, significantly expediting job changes. Additionally, it is equipped with standard slitting, cross perforation, and various rewinding options or cut sheeting capabilities with a conveyor belt and batch separation. Dharmaraj N expresses his enthusiasm for the machine, saying, “We are truly excited to operate the Rhyguan Plus-420, as it is an intelligent finishing system that incorporates advanced features like 100% offline inspection.”

Dharmaraj N further expresses his satisfaction, stating, “Up to this point, we are highly pleased with the Rhyguan Plus-420’s core competency in converting and finishing. It has significantly boosted our confidence and ability to cater to our quality-conscious customers, ensuring their utmost satisfaction. Additionally, we are thrilled to witness the exceptional precision of Rhyguan’s Smart slitting rewinding, coupled with the Luster 7K 100% fault detection inspection system.”

Pioneer Arunachalam Packaging takes pride in its extensive client base, consisting of prominent brands primarily from the liquor and FMCG sectors. These clients are spread across major cities and towns in southern India, including Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, and others.

Pioneer Arunachalam Packaging is committed to maintaining its state-of-the-art facility by continuously upgrading its portfolio of machines. Dharmaraj N emphasizes their preference for best-in-class machines and suppliers who provide unwavering support. He states, “We consider ourselves fortunate to be partnered with FIG, which not only offers cost-effective machines but also provides cooperative after-sales service.”

FIG, with its network of branches in Delhi, Mumbai, and Chennai, supplies top-notch machines to Pioneer Arunachalam Packaging. They also have a centralized ‘Customer Support Department’ dedicated to providing comprehensive after-sales service to their clients. This ensures that the packaging company receives ongoing assistance and support for their machines, further strengthening their partnership with FIG.
