Pamex 2020 gains new heights – Separate hall for label industry in Pamex 2022

Pamex 2020 surpassed the last edition in terms of not just the exhibition space, number of exhibitors but also the number of visitors to the show. Meticulously organized by the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP), in association with Print-Packaging. com (P) Ltd, Pamex 2020 came to a closure, leaving an impeccable impression in the minds of exhibitors and visitors alike.

“With more than 375 exhibitors covering a net area of over 10,000 sqm, the show is truly a printing and packaging extravaganza. There has been no visible impact of economic slowdown on the show-floor. Companies are participating with full enthusiasm, and investing a lot of money at the show. Both the halls were fully packed, and there was hardly any room for people to walk. The number of visitors this year is more than what we expected. On the third day of the exhibition, the total number of unique visitors was 22000. We expect to close the event with 20% more visitors compared to the last edition where we got 25000 unique visitors,” shares Anil Arora of Print-Packaging. com.

Speaking about the next edition of the Pamex exhibition, Arora said, “We are expecting more international participation in 2022. German and Japanese associations have already expressed their interest in the next edition of the exhibition. So, we expect to have country pavilions from these countries too, and even greater participation from China. This year itself, direct Chinese exhibitors occupied more than 1300 square meter area which is the largest till date.”

Arora added, “In the next edition of the Pamex exhibition, we will have another hall in addition to the existing ones. The new hall will be dedicated to the label industry. The commercial printers are looking for diversification and one of the areas they can diversify to is labels. By creating a separate label hall within the exhibition, we want to add more value to our exhibitors and visitors.”

The next edition of Pamex will be held between 23-26 March 2022.
