The 2nd edition of PACK.Nxt is set to take place on 17 December 2024, at The Lalit, Mumbai. The summit will gather over 400 delegates and 60 industry leaders to discuss the latest trends in packaging. This year’s event, themed ‘Connecting Brands, Co-Creating the Future of Packaging: Sustainable, Intelligent, Active,’ will provide a platform for leaders, innovators, and experts to share insights and explore advancements in the industry.

The conference will feature two dedicated stages. One will focus on ‘Sustainable, Intelligent, and Active Packaging,’ offering insights into groundbreaking developments in sustainable materials and intelligent packaging solutions. The other stage will cover ‘Packaging Recycling,’ where industry leaders and experts will discuss advancements in circular economy practices. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from subject-matter experts about the latest innovations driving the future of packaging.

Attendees will have the opportunity to engage in collaborative discussions and forge valuable connections with key stakeholders from across the packaging value chain. The summit will also feature product demonstrations and real-world examples shared by panelists. Brand owners from leading companies such as Kellogg’s, Nestle, HUL, Mankind Pharma, Ajanta Pharma, Lupin, Dr. Reddy’s Labs, Abbott, Marico India, Britannia, Colgate-Palmolive, Mother Dairy, Pepsico, Sun Pharma, Diageo India, and many more will participate as speakers this year.

Some confirmed speakers or PACK.Nxt 2024 include Swarn Singh, director (R&D) South Asia, Kellogg’s; Amit Milind Kale, AVP sourcing and supply chain, Reliance Retail; Sanjay Ghoshal, senior general manager & head packaging, DIAGEO India; Prabodh Halde, head – regulatory affairs, Marico India.

The conference sessions at PACK.Nxt are curated to offer in-depth analysis and forward-thinking perspectives on sustainable and intelligent packaging. Key topics include ‘Less Packaging Leading to More Sustainable Packaging,’ which will explore visibility, traceability, and connected ecosystems; ‘The Next Normal of Sustainable Packaging,’ addressing evolving consumer perceptions and future strategies; ‘Smart Labels and Digital Innovations,’ focusing on track and trace technologies in food and pharma; ‘Raw Material Sourcing,’ which will examine the use of post-consumer recycled materials in packaging design; and ‘AI and ML in Packaging,’ highlighting how these technologies can enhance supply chain efficiency. Additional discussions on circularity in design, mono-material sourcing, and optimal Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) further explore the future of sustainable packaging.
