Norwalt Automation launches digital division for high-volume product labeling

-

Norwalt, a specialist in custom-built automation and line integration machinery for complex manufacturing applications, has launched a new Digital Division dedicated to advancing the future of product labeling through next-generation technology. The business unit will focus on reshaping the future of product labeling through high-performance digital printing systems that offer superior speed, precision, and sustainability compared to conventional labeling methods.

At the core of the new division’s offering is a state-of-the-art direct-to-object (DTO) digital printer, capable of printing on up to 300 containers per minute with ultra-high-resolution 1200 dpi output. The system is engineered to deliver exceptional ink durability and adhesion across a wide range of substrates, with flexible color configurations including CMYKW, spot Pantone colors, and fluorescent inks. Norwalt will debut the prototype system at the upcoming Printing United Expo, taking place 22–24 October 2015 in Orlando at Stand 5012.

Norwalt’s Digital Division will serve a wide array of industries – including life sciences, food and beverage, personal care, and specialty chemicals – delivering tailored, future-ready solutions that meet the sector’s strict regulatory and performance requirements. The division will also offer full service, around-the-clock support, to ensure optimal uptime and productivity for customers.

“At Norwalt, we’ve always focused on precision, innovation, and performance,” said Mike Seitel, chairman of Norwalt Automation Group. “With the launch of our Digital Division, we’re bringing that same philosophy to the rapidly evolving world of digital printing, helping manufacturers future-proof their operations while achieving unmatched quality and efficiency.”
