Naph Graphics displayed its SlitLine 35 slitter-rewinder at the IndiaPlast 2019 exhibition. The slitter-rewinder is an upgraded version of its earlier model and comes with a shaftless unwinder. “The shaftless unwinder of our slitter-rewinder can lift the reel from ground while other slitter-rewinders provide shaftless unwinder only for clamping and declamping,” said said Mohit Bansal of Naph Graphics.

Naph Graphics is a well-known name in the field of web offset press manufacturing. Naph Graphics diversified to the packaging and converting industry by launching its slitter-rewinder, SlitLine 35, at Packplus Delhi in 2016. The company’s web offset business, which started in 1990, includes exclusively designed web offset presses for printing newspapers and periodicals for medium sized editions.

The Slitline 35 has a maximum web width of 1,300 mm and maximum unwind diameter of 1,000 mm. The machine can handle plain films, coated films, metallized films, film, foil or paper laminates, paper and board. The machine has a maximum speed of 350 meters per minute.

“We are planning to come up with more products in the market to widen our product mix. The new products that we are planning to offer could be inspection systems, printing machines or any other related products. However, we are yet to decide the products,” said Bansal.

Speaking about the IndiaPlast 2019 exhibition, Bansal said, “It’s a very good exhibition with many new products and innovations for the visitors to see. The flexible packaging industry is growing and the exhibition just stands proof to that.”
