Mumbai-based label printer, JD Printers, has recently installed a Taiyo STF 8-color servo drive UV flexo press. The shaftless press with multiple servo motors has a short web path with movable cold-stamp unit and print cylinder with support ring. The press can handle a range of substrates from 20 microns to 350 gsm paperboard. The press was supplied by Standard Printers Providers – Taiyo’s India representative.

Dinesh Pawa, director of JD Printers, said, “We did a very careful evaluation of presses suitable for the kind of jobs we want to produce and decided to go with the Taiyo STF press as it can produce excellent and consistent quality at high speed.” With the new press, JD Printers is catering to a variety of customers with satisfactory results.

In late March 2018, another Mumbai-based label printer, Label Solutions, installed a brand-new Taiyo STF 340 10-color narrow web flexo press while another press was installed at Delhi-based Regal Creative last year. According to Gaurav Sachdev of Standard Printers Providers, more orders are in the pipeline and will be installed very soon.

Labelexpo India 2018
At the upcoming Labelexpo India 2018 exhibition, 22 – 25 November in Greater Noida, Standard Printers Providers along with its principal Taiyo Kikai of Japan will display a host of solutions at its Stand C1.
