Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection will present its product inspection technologies at Anuga FoodTec India 2026, scheduled to take place from 29 September to 1 October 2026 in Hall 4, Stand L-51, under the theme ‘Inspect. Protect. Comply.’ The company said the display will show food manufacturers how to inspect products, protect brands and profits, and comply with regulatory requirements, in line with its ‘Your Partner in Precision’ positioning.
At the stand, visitors will be able to see how product inspection, connected production data and service support can help food manufacturers manage product safety and quality, reduce waste, and maintain control across production environments.
A central focus at the stand will be inspection technologies for strengthening safety and quality control across the production line. Checkweighing, metal detection, and x-ray inspection technologies will be on display, giving visitors the opportunity to discuss inspection approaches for their products, packaging formats and production challenges.
The C33 checkweigher will show how in-line checkweighing can help identify under- and over-filled packs, reduce product giveaway, and support compliance with weights and measures requirements, according to the company. Its design is intended to suit food production environments where accuracy, throughput and consistency are important.
The M31R metal detector will demonstrate metal contaminant detection integrated into food production lines. The company said the M31R is designed for day-to-day operation, supporting manufacturers in identifying and rejecting metal contamination in products before they reach consumers.
Mettler-Toledo will also present its x-ray inspection capabilities through the X12 and X13 systems, which the company said can detect a range of physical contaminants, including metal, glass, mineral stone, calcified bone, and high-density plastics, depending on the product and application. The X13 is designed to inspect bulk flow products prior to packaging, to protect downstream equipment and reduce recall risk. Alongside foreign body detection, x-ray inspection solutions for packaged products, such as the X12, can support further product and packaging quality checks, including identification of missing items, damaged products, or compromised pack integrity, the company said.
Together, the inspection systems on the stand are intended to show how manufacturers can apply technology at different points in the production process, addressing weight control, contamination detection, product integrity, and quality assurance from processing through to final packaged goods.
Connected data and compliance with ProdX
Product inspection technologies generate quality and compliance data, and at Anuga FoodTec India 2026, Mettler-Toledo will highlight ProdX, its data management software for product inspection, as part of what it describes as a more connected approach to production line control.
By standardizing record-keeping and creating audit-ready reports, the company said ProdX enables manufacturers to substantiate compliance, streamline audits, and maintain tighter control of product quality. Automated workflows, fewer paper records, and faster investigations may also help reduce operational costs, while supporting more secure handling of quality and compliance data.
Real-time visibility of inspection performance is intended to give production and quality teams insight to respond to emerging issues, minimize waste, and keep lines running efficiently. The company said ProdX helps manufacturers seeking greater control, traceability and audit readiness take their product inspection processes further.
