Markem-Imaje unveils Ultraply range of print and apply consumables

-

Markem-Imaje has launched the Ultraply ribbons and self-adhesive labels range for its print and apply (P&A) labelers. Markem-Imaje’s Ultraply brand comprises four ribbon and labels solutions to cover all case and pallet labeling needs.

The range is designed to optimize use of Markem-Imaje P&A labelers and to offer the best quality in the market from basic to complex case and pallet operations. Besides delivering readable and durable 1D and 2D codes, compliant with the stringent food regulations, Ultraply consumables are designed to maximize printhead life, cut scrap and use less resources than other P&A consumables, while being completely safe to handle.

Among the four Ultraply consumables solutions, the Premium ribbons and labels are designed for the most demanding applications such as those requiring high levels of rub or solvent resistance and are ideally suited for synthetic label materials.

Ultraply Performance consumables provide versatile options for creating durable codes on various materials. Ultraply Prime offers a budget-friendly choice within the range, maintaining reliable code quality and optimized performance. Ultraply Direct are self-adhesive labels intended for high-speed labeling without compromising on quality.

“Especially given the ever-increasing importance of e-commerce, case and pallet coding require ever faster production speeds and the ability to produce high-quality phone scannable codes like QRs,” says Andy Gray, marketing manager at Markem-Imaje. “The Ultraply consumables range perfectly caters to today’s business demands while offering flexibility for different labeling needs and budgets.”
