Lecta spins off its self-adhesive business

-

Lecta, a leading European manufacturer and distributor of specialty papers for labels and packaging, high value-added functional papers and a wide range of coated and uncoated papers for publishing, has announced the spin-off of its Self-Adhesives business unit from Torraspapel. This spin-off will be effective as of 1 January 2025. It entails the creation of the new company Lecta Self-Adhesives España, which will take over all activities, agreements and commercial relationships relating to Lecta’s self-adhesives business, including all its self-adhesive products.

This strategic decision reflects Lecta’s transformation and specialization of the Lecta Group that has taken place in recent years, which already envisaged the spin-off of its distribution business in Southern Europe and is now focused on its self-adhesive materials unit. With this new structure, Lecta seeks to optimize the management and profitability of the business through specialization, increase production efficiency and analyze and adapt the opportunities of each business unit to market demands and the needs of its customers.

Lecta Self-Adhesives España will take over Torraspapel’s position in all agreements and commercial relationships related to its self-adhesives business division, as well as transferring all assets linked to this area across the board. This change will not affect Lecta’s commitment to quality of service and customer satisfaction, given that the new structure will allow for significant improvements in processes and product offerings.
