Landa Digital Printing has introduced the latest evolution of its B1 digital print technology at drupa 2024 with the launch of the Landa S11 and S11P nanographic printing presses. These new models deliver impressive print speeds of up to 11,200 sheets per hour (SPH), enhancing productivity and reducing job turnaround times for print service providers.

Revolutionary PrintAI module

The new Landa presses feature the innovative PrintAI module, leveraging artificial intelligence to further enhance print quality. This advanced technology ensures exceptional precision, making it ideal for demanding applications such as folding cartons and commercial prints that require micro text and sophisticated brand protection features. PrintAI not only improves print quality but also opens new avenues for profit generation.

Gil Oron, CEO of Landa Digital Printing, said, “We are thrilled to introduce the Landa S11 and S11P. Building on the success of our current S10 and S10P models and our deep understanding of future industry needs, we are taking nanography to a new level. The new Landa models empower printers and packaging converters to enhance print quality, boost productivity and profitability, and further reduce turnaround times.”

A proven technology platform

With over 50 Landa presses operating in 14 countries and more than 20% of customers placing repeat orders, the technology has proven its value. Oron said, “The S11 and S11P represent a critical growth engine for folding carton converters, commercial printers, and point-of-purchase specialists. We have entered a new era of print production where limitations are lifted, enabling print buyers to get precisely what they need—beautiful prints with unlimited design potential, produced economically and swiftly, with a keen eye on environmental impact.”

Introducing the 11K module

The S11 and S11P models are equipped with a new ink-drying system that facilitates the transfer of dry ink to media at an accelerated speed of 11,200 SPH. This feature significantly boosts productivity and economic efficiency, allowing printers and converters to handle more jobs with tighter deadlines.

Customization for every need

The new Landa presses can be tailored to meet specific customer requirements, offering options such as four or seven-color configurations, continuous printing capabilities, an optional in-line coating unit, and the choice to include the 11K Module for enhanced productivity and/or the PrintAI module.

A new era in digital print

Oron concluded, “The new Landa modules offer a substantial premium to customers. While the S11 series builds on the robust S10 platform, today’s additional capabilities enable customers to expand their services and enter lucrative new markets. The B1 digital print revolution is in full swing, with Landa presses helping print houses and converters tackle the industry’s biggest challenges and seize its most significant opportunities.”
