Gurugram-based Kridwinn Innovations has recorded the installation of over 10 units of its Digimac Series inkjet print-on-demand presses across India in under a year, with the machines collectively printing more than 250 million impressions to date, the company said.

The Digimac Series, available in 440 mm and 660 mm web widths, is designed for high-volume print-on-demand applications. According to the company, the presses deliver speeds of over 100 metres per minute and output exceeding 120,000 A4 impressions per hour, with print resolution up to 1,200 dpi and CMYK color output. The series targets segments including books and publishing, transactional printing, and security printing.

The company said printing costs on the Digimac Series run as low as 6–9 paise per A4 CMYK impression, with black-only printing at around 1.5 paise per impression. Kridwinn positions these cost levels as enabling faster returns on investment for print service providers. The presses also incorporate workflow automation to reduce manual intervention, the company said.

Kridwinn describes the Digimac Series as energy-efficient and modular in design, intended to allow operators to scale production without significant increases in floor space.
