Konica Minolta Business Solutions India, a leader in imaging and business solutions, successfully concluded its showcase at the Consumer Electronics Imaging Fair (CEIF) 2026, held from January 16 to 18, 2026. The company demonstrated advanced digital printing technologies designed to support the evolving needs of professional photography, wedding albums, and premium print applications.

The three-day exhibition witnessed strong engagement from photo studios, print service providers, and industry professionals, who experienced live demonstrations of Konica Minolta’s production printing and embellishment solutions. The demonstrations highlighted colour accuracy, production stability, and value-added finishing, with a clear focus on applications relevant to the photography and photo album segment.

A major attraction at the booth was the AccurioPress C84hc, featuring Konica Minolta’s proprietary High Chroma toner technology with a color gamut closer to sRGB. The system drew significant interest for its ability to deliver an expanded colour gamut with richer reds, deeper blues, and smoother tonal gradation, making it especially suitable for wedding photography and high-end photo books where colour precision and visual depth are critical.

Also showcased was the AccurioPress C7100 ENHANCED, a versatile production press designed for handling diverse print applications with consistent colour output and improved automation. Visitors observed how the system supports stable production across short and medium runs while maintaining quality on a wide range of media.

Complementing the production presses, the MGI AccurioShine 3600 with iFoil demonstrated digital spot UV and foiling capabilities that enable premium embellishment without traditional dies or screens. The solution generated strong interest among photo album manufacturers and print businesses seeking to enhance visual appeal and offer differentiated, high-value products.

Katsuhisa Asari, managing director, Konica Minolta Business Solutions India, said, “The professional photography and premium print segments in India continue to evolve rapidly, with customers seeking greater colour accuracy, consistency, and creative flexibility. At CEIF 2026, our focus has been on demonstrating how advanced digital printing and embellishment technologies can support photographers and print businesses in delivering higher-value applications while maintaining operational efficiency. By enabling richer colour reproduction, stable output, and premium finishes, we aim to help our customers differentiate their offerings and strengthen their competitiveness in an increasingly quality-driven market.”

Ashok Sethi, chief sales officer, Konica Minolta Business Solutions India, said, “The response at CEIF 2026 clearly reflects the growing demand for premium photo printing and value-added applications. Visitors showed keen interest in solutions that combine colour accuracy, production reliability, and embellishment capabilities. Our demonstrations sparked meaningful conversations around how photo studios and print businesses can enhance their offerings and move up the value chain.”

Manish Gupta, head – Product Life Cycle & Solution Consultancy Division, Konica Minolta Business Solutions India, added, “CEIF 2026 provided valuable insights into how the photography and print market is evolving. The strong interest in High Chroma printing and digital embellishment confirms that customers are looking for technologies that deliver visual differentiation along with operational efficiency. Feedback from the show reinforces our focus on application-driven innovation tailored to professional photography and premium print segments.”

Throughout the exhibition, Konica Minolta’s technical experts conducted detailed walkthroughs and live demonstrations, allowing visitors to understand practical applications, workflow efficiencies, and creative possibilities enabled by digital printing and embellishment technologies.

The successful conclusion of CEIF 2026 further strengthens Konica Minolta’s engagement with the professional photography and print community, reaffirming its commitment to supporting businesses with reliable, high-quality, and application-focused digital solutions.
