Kongsberg to display X20 at Printpack India

Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems (Kongsberg PCS) will begin the year by showcasing the power, performance and versatility of its digital finishing solutions when it displays its X20 cutting table and range of innovative tools at Printpack India.

Across the five days of the event, held at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida, from 1 to 5 February 2025, the company will deliver continuous demos of one of its most versatile digital finishing devices on the market – the modular Kongsberg X20.

Rafiq Shaikh, sales and service leader at Kongsberg PCS, said, “With a complete range of tools on-hand, the Kongsberg PCS team will demonstrate to visitors how our digital solutions maximize productivity, efficiency and customer satisfaction for converters in the folding carton, corrugated, flexo and label sectors.

“We are incredibly excited to return to Printpack in 2025, demonstrating to our visitors how Kongsberg digital finishing solutions enable businesses to streamline workflows and automate production to boost efficiency. The combination of power, precision and innovative tools empowers designers and operators with the creative freedom to generate the ideas that will drive the future of their business, working with everything from paperboard and corrugated material to Kappa board, labels, blankets and foam.”

Shaikh said the Kongsberg X20 will be at the center of the Kongsberg PCS display, at stand I 26 in Hall 14. “As market dynamics and consumer buying behaviors continue to evolve, it is crucial that businesses invest in equipment that enables them to adapt and scale with these changing demands,” he said. “With a noticeable shift towards more sustainable materials, the versatility of finishing equipment becomes crucial. The X20 delivers this, not just through its wide range of applications but also because it is a cutting table that can evolve.

“Packed with a wide range of specialty tools, the X20 can surpass the production speeds of traditional routers, lasers, and plotters, leading to significant savings on labor and floor space,” said Shaikh. “Offering the combination of speed, power and flexibility, it can handle a wide variety of materials and can easily be upgraded as a business’s needs change.

“By integrating a Kongsberg machine into their operations, businesses can streamline production while staying aligned with the growing demand for sustainable solutions.”
