Kodak to present innovative solutions for printers at Pamex 2024

-

At Pamex 2024, taking place at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai from 6 to 9 February 2024, Kodak is set to showcase its state-of-the-art technologies designed to assist printers in effectively addressing current industry challenges. These innovations aim to enhance customer service, boost operational efficiency, improve profitability, and foster more sustainable practices.

The spotlight will be on Kodak’s high-speed Prosper presses and Imprinting systems. With the introduction of the Kodak Prosper Ultra 520 press and the world’s fastest inkjet web press, the Kodak Prosper 7000 Turbo press, the company is well-equipped to empower printers to incorporate cutting-edge digital capabilities into their services. Kodak plans to illustrate the exceptional quality of the Prosper presses through live demonstrations, showcasing samples from a diverse range of applications printed on various substrates.

Visitors will be able to see Kodak’s comprehensive CtP portfolio ranges from B2 size models to the world’s fastest platesetter in the B1 size category with a throughput of 84 plates per hour (Kodak Magnus Q800 with T-speed Plus Option) to the Kodak Magnus Q4800 Platesetter, the largest, highly automated CtP system in the world.

Sonora technology is the world’s most widely used and trusted process-free plate technology. Sonora Xtra makes process-free an attractive option for offset printers in search of a plate that reduces costs in both prepress and the pressroom without compromising print quality or productivity.

Kodak will also demonstrate the Kodak Prinergy Workflow Solutions, which offer smart automation and support for analog and digital printing processes. Prinergy is available in the cloud, on premise or as a hybrid solution with subscription bundles, giving printers ultimate value and cost savings. The Prinergy Platform is compatible with virtually all third-party software and equipment and connects with the broadest range of digital presses.

“As a supplier to the printing industry with its own subsidiary in the country for 50 years now, it is natural for Kodak to be an exhibitor at India’s premier printing trade fair. We look forward to informing Pamex attendees from all over India and neighboring countries about our highly productive, sustainable prepress and offset solutions as well as our groundbreaking high-speed Prosper Inkjet Presses,” said Jenine Rose-Johnson, vice president, operations and alternate channels and head of APR sales, Kodak.
