At Printpack India 2025, Kodak and Kapoor Imaging announced the signing of a reseller agreement under which the graphic arts trading company will serve the Indian market as a Kodak channel partner. Kapoor Imaging will add Kodak’s full range of thermal platesetters and associated automation equipment, Kodak Sonora Process Free Plates and workflow software solutions to its sales portfolio.

Established in 1976, Kapoor Imaging is a leading sales and service company today serving India’s imaging and prepress industry. With headquarters in Chennai, 14 offices in major cities across the country and a total of 300 employees, Kapoor Imaging distributes a comprehensive portfolio of prepress solutions, printing plates and essential pressroom consumables.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kapoor Imaging as our channel partner for India. Their almost 50 years of expertise and strategically distributed geographical presence in the Indian market make them a highly valuable partner for us,” said Bhalchandra Nikumb, print solutions sales director, India, Kodak. “By leveraging Kapoor’s proven expertise and robust sales network, Kodak will be able to expand our thermal CTP and process free plate solutions in India, addressing the evolving demands of the local printing industry.”

Kapoor Imaging sees the new sales partnership with Kodak as a crucial step for future business success. “The addition of Kodak’s portfolio to our range will significantly strengthen our position as a supplier of cutting-edge offset CTP solutions and plates in the domestic market,” said Sunil Kapoor, managing director of Kapoor Imaging. “As a Kodak Channel Partner, we can now support printers with advanced prepress and plate solutions from a world-class brand.”
