The new ERP solution will enable SMEs to streamline stores, purchases, order processing, material planning and job cards

Noida-based Kiran Consultants has launched a new ERP solution to enable SMEs to streamline stores, purchases, order processing, material planning and job cards. According to Kiran Consultants, implementing the solution will reduce manpower, requiring only at key areas of stores, PPC, marketing and dispatch.

“This is a fantastic solution for units engaged in manufacturing flexible packaging, labels, cartons, and film/paper stock as they would be able to generate job specs sheet detailing all the instructions that the machine operator has to follow in order to run the job, requisition the correct material from stores thereby reducing wastage, ensuring correct information passing between marketing and PPC, stores and dispatch,” said Gaurav Bansal, director, Kiran Consultants.

“The material will get dispatched at the commercials booked. Proper sales order pendency can be generated from the system. Proper barcoded labels for the FG produced lot-wise and pallet-wise can be generated. All incoming raw material can be barcoded, ensuring traceability in case RM is found faulty,” Bansal explained. “The management can have complete control over purchases and orders booked by the marketing reps through an approval mechanism. Marketing teams can generate their pre-sales material costing based on the product’s bill of material.”

Pivot report

The ERP can be hosted on an in-house server or cloud and can handle multiple plants/locations. It can provide reports pertaining to individual units or companies as a whole or group as a whole while responsibilities can be assigned user-wise.

New Product development

Kiran Consultants has also developed an advanced BI tool for seasoned Flexibiz ERP users to do the number crunching and data analysis more effectively through interactive dashboards and pivot tables. The BI tool offers several benefits – no need to write complex SQL queries; analyze big data (multiple companies, multiple plants, multiple years data) to find data patterns, plot meaningful charts; prebuilt interactive dashboards for sales, production, accounts to compare year to year, quarter to quarter performance; and data visualization.

“We have prebuilt BI reports application-wise for financial, materials, sales and production. In all BI reports, all possible columns like FG/RM/account groups and other relevant fields are given for holistic analysis for that given area. Reports can be analyzed for year/quarter/month performance. The master reports given in the BI tool can be made user-specific by saving user-specific report templates,” said Bansal.
