Innovia Films expands ISCC Plus certification to Zacapú facility

-

Innovia Films, a global leader in materials science and BOPP film manufacturing for labels, graphics, packaging, and tobacco applications, has expanded its ISCC Plus certification to its production facility in Zacapú, Mexico. This strengthens Innovia’s ability to deliver certified sustainable film solutions to customers worldwide.

“Expanding ISCC Plus certification to our Zacapú facility reflects both strong market demand and Innovia’s long-term sustainability strategy,” said Aaron Henneger, vice president and general manager, Innovia Films Americas. “It allows us to further scale our Encore portfolio and provide customers with certified renewable and circular film solutions, wherever they operate.”

With ISCC PLUS certification now extended to Zacapú, Innovia can manufacture and supply its Encore range using both ISCC PLUS bio-circular (certified renewable) and ISCC Plus circular (certified recycled) materials, reinforcing the company’s leadership in sustainable BOPP technologies.

ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification) is a globally recognized, independent certification system that supports the sustainable sourcing and traceability of raw materials across international supply chains.
