The HPPL, a Chennai-based packaging printing company, has invested in a brand-new Heidelberg Suprasetter A 106 CtP equipment to expand its prepress capability. This move comes as a continuation of their previous ownership of a Heidelberg Suprasetter 106 CtP equipment. The decision to invest in the new Heidelberg Suprasetter A 106 is a result of their positive experience with Heidelberg CtP equipment and the Prinect process.

“Given the growth in our production capacity at our new Chennai facility, we opted to acquire an additional Heidelberg Suprasetter CtP. This decision aligns with our strategy and reasoning,” said Nishant Shah, executive director at the HPPL.

Established in 1995 by Prashant Shah, owner at HPPL is confident about the future results with Suprasetter A 106. The packaging company is specialized in Met-Pet, Drip UV, mono cartons, and basic cartons. If the contemporary business is about presentation, the packaging and quality of printing become the only media and tools for the presentation. Recognizing the market demands, HPPL has established a comprehensive facility to cater to all packaging and printing requirements.

Equipped with the latest cutting-edge printing technologies that span across various industries and diverse markets, HPPL is well-prepared to address the current trend of high-demand, competitive, and intricate printing needs.

“It’s the beauty of Heidelberg workflow which helps us save a lot of time in prepress with CtP including the usage of Prinect Packaging Designer for enhanced productivity. Today, we are in new markets and the workflow has supported acquiring new customers. We had wonderful training from the Heidelberg team, and it will be continued with additional training.” said Nishant Shah.

With a wide product range, HPPL also possesses the market image of timely delivery every time with reasonable pricing. “We have three units across Chennai, and we are specialized in mono cartons and printed corrugated boxes. The corporate office at Vyasarpadi, has a central designing team that shoots the file to the Sothupakkam unit where the new Suprasetter is set-up,” added Shah.

Suprasetter A 106 is flexible equipment from manual to fully automatic option with smart plate handling capacity and has integrated temperature stabilization, punching suction, and dust filter systems. The modular design of the Suprasetter A 106 provides maximum flexibility for the medium-size format range. Its Intelligent Diode System (IDS) virtually eliminates production losses. An integrated cooling system prevents any adverse impact from external temperatures.

Prabaharan, AGM, sales at Heidelberg India, said, “We have also included the press standardization support for their existing printing equipment and upgrading the print quality, our application experts visit the printshop and do the necessary procedures for the optimized printing.”

“With Heidelberg’s complete prepress workflow, Prinect cockpit and Packaging designer, we can work quickly with no minimal error,” concluded Shah.
