Flint Group launches VIVO ColourMatch

-

Flint Group, a global leader in inks and coatings for packaging, has launched VIVO ColourMatch – a powerful new software tool that completes its VIVO Colour Solutions platform. VIVO ColourMatch is a newly developed, bespoke online colour matching workflow designed to help printers streamline processes, reduce setup time, and simplify colour consistency across jobs and sites. As the latest module within the VIVO Colour Solutions ecosystem, VIVO ColourMatch expands the platform’s capabilities to offer a complete end-to-end colour management solution.

At the core of VIVO ColourMatch is a template-based platform that allows printers to define and save specific colour profiles tailored to different ink series and applications. This eliminates the need to re-enter parameters for repeat jobs and ensures that formulations are readily accessible across customer locations.

A standout feature of the software is its built-in press return utilisation module, which automatically identifies available in-stock press return inks and defines how they can be reused to meet target colour specifications. This innovation enhances ink stock rotation, reduces waste, and supports more sustainable print operations.

Shaun du-Randt, global services director at Flint Group, said, “VIVO ColourMatch is a fully integrated digital colour matching tool within our VIVO Colour Solutions family. It helps printers quickly and accurately match brand shades, while the built-in press return functionality offers added value by simplifying ink reuse. Ultimately, this innovation supports smarter workflows, improves operational efficiency, and helps printers reduce the cost of their ink inventories.”

VIVO ColourMatch will be available to all Flint Group customers starting 25 September 2025.
