Flash4 installs HP Indigo V12 digital press

Flash4 has installed the HP Indigo V12 digital press and ABG Digicon finishing system at its Wisconsin headquarters. According to the company, this strategic investment accelerates the launch of Flash4’s Smart Label Packaging Division, a new initiative designed to meet the rapidly evolving demands of modern supply chains, e-commerce distribution, and connected consumer experiences. By merging high-speed digital printing with intelligent labeling technologies, Flash4 is transforming labels from static identifiers into dynamic, data-enabled assets.

“Digital label printing isn’t just short run any longer,” said Michael Del Chiaro, CRO of Flash4. “We truly are one of the first to market with industrial-size medium to long run digital label printing, a game changer in the pressure-sensitive prime label market space.”

Founded in 1998, Flash4 has grown from a single press operation to over 20 presses and finishing systems, serving leading brands across industries.

The Smart Label Packaging Division represents Flash4’s commitment to addressing the evolving demands of mass shipping dependency. Anchored by state-of-the-art equipment – including the HP Indigo V12 for high-speed, vibrant, premium quality long run digital printing, ABG automated finishing systems for precision and efficiency, and a phased rollout of RFID inlay application and encoding – the division transforms traditional labels into intelligent, data-enabled infrastructure.

“We are not just adding new technology – we’re redefining what’s possible in our industry,” said Dino Valentino, CEO of Flash4. “The combination of high-resolution digital printing, variable imaging, and RFID at scale is a true market disruption. This positions us – and our customers – to lead in a future where packaging is intelligent, connected, and essential to business performance.”
