DuPont Cyrel Flexographic Solutions was celebrating this week, after its Cyrel Easy ESXR plate was named the winner of the Indian Flexible Packaging & Folding Carton Manufacturers Association (IFCA) Award 2025 in the Structural Innovation & Graphic Design category.

The Cyrel South Asia team was presented with the award at the special IFCA Awards ceremony on 9 October 2025 at the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), Mumbai. Edwin Koh, AP Commercial Leader with DuPont Cyrel Flexographic Solutions, said the award was recognition for the company’s efforts in driving advancements in the flexographic printing industry through structural innovations and graphic design, facilitated in partnership with the new Quartz technology developed by Esko.

“With its exceptionally robust structure, the Cyrel ESXR plate offers high durability in flexographic packaging printing, enabling an extended plate lifespan compared to other products in the market,” explained Edwin. “This enhanced durability delivers exceptional print quality is maintained throughout the entire production process.”

At the IFCA Awards 2025, the Cyrel ESXR plate was recognized for its quality and durability compared to existing flexographic plates, and for offering a solution that not only reduces production costs and improves OEM indexes but also enhances customer satisfaction.

“We are absolutely thrilled that this advanced plate has been honored by the IFCA in this year’s awards,” added Edwin. “We believe the Cyrel ESXR is the answer to the quality and efficiency challenges sought by the flexographic industry, generating benefits for converters and brand owners alike.
