Domino to showcase traceability solutions at CPHI & PMEC India 2024

Domino Printech will showcase its latest pharmaceutical coding and marking solutions at CPHI & PMEC India, scheduled for 26–28 November 2024, at India Expo Mart, Greater Noida.

Under the theme ‘Smarter Pharma Coding. Complete Traceability’, Domino will demonstrate how its technologies enable end-to-end traceability across the pharmaceutical supply chain-from individual blister packs to aggregated pallets-ensuring compliance with global regulations and enhancing patient safety.

Domino’s solutions on display at CPHI & PMEC India 2024 include high-speed laser coding for blister packs and cartons that ensures permanent, precise marking without consumable waste; thermal transfer overprinting (TTO) for flexible packaging that delivers crisp variable data such as batch codes and expiry dates; integrated blister coding stations that enable seamless coding on blister packs and cartons within production lines; continuous inkjet (CIJ) systems designed for reliable, high-speed coding in demanding pharma environments; thermal inkjet (TIJ) printers that provide high-resolution serialization and complex codes on cartons and labels; advanced UV printing solutions using UV-curable inks for durable, high-contrast codes on challenging substrates; and aggregation and large-format coding systems for secondary and tertiary packaging, including pallets, with integrated LED curing and plasma treatment for superior adhesion.

“Our focus at PMEC India is to empower pharmaceutical manufacturers with smarter coding solutions that deliver complete traceability. From single-dose blister packs to full pallets, Domino’s technologies ensure compliance, sustainability, and efficiency. With innovations like UV printing and integrated aggregation, we help our customers stay ahead in a highly regulated industry,” Tanuj Agrawal, managing director, Domino Printech India

“Pharma manufacturers today need solutions that go beyond coding-they need systems that guarantee traceability, brand protection, and patient safety. At PMEC India, we are showcasing technologies that address these challenges comprehensively, from primary packaging to pallet-level aggregation. Our goal is to help customers achieve operational excellence while meeting global compliance standards,” Akash Kumar, general manager – marketing, Domino Printech India.
