Delhi-based Polylam Printers has opted for an 8-color Lombardi Synchroline 430 flexo label printing press. The press is equipped with a ‘Toro’ flatbed hot foil system and a hologram unit.

Vishal Pasricha, owner of Polylam Printers, said, “The ‘Toro’ unit provides hologram in setting hot foil and embossing technologies inline with a single operation at the highest speed with accurate register. Other features include delamrelam, turnbar, cold foil, two-diecutting unit, sheeter and conveyor, web cleaner, corona treatment. As we grow our market in doing value added jobs for the Liquor and cosmetic industries, the need for a European press with higher print quality, less wastage and hologram and Fresnel lens insetting features was what we needed. After careful evaluation of both technical features as well as local after sales support, we narrowed down on the Lombardi press.”

Demonstrated at Labelexpo India, the press will be installed at the printer’s factory by Vinsak, the exclusive distributor of Lombardi presses in the Indian sub-continent.

Neeraj Sharma, executive director at Vinsak, said, “Differntiation on the shelf space is the need of the hour and the embellishments offered by the Toro unit are really unique. Polylam is a highly demanding customer and they had requested for some very tough testing prior to finalizing the press. Lombardi and Vinsak are happy to have emerged successful in bagging this prestigious order and hope that this will only be the first of the many presses that Polylam will invest in the near future.”
