Monotech sold its second Jetsci Colornovo UV inkjet label press to Mumbai-based label converter Barcom Industries on the second day of Labelexpo India 2018. This is the Monotech’s second deal after it sold its Jetsci Colornovo press to Haryana-based labels and holograms manufacturing company, Wonderpac.

Monotech Systems launched its Colornovo full color UV inkjet label production press at Labelexpo India 2018. Based on Kyocera inkjet printhead technology, the label press provides resolutions of 600 x 600 dpi and speeds up to 70 m/min along with CMYK +W in various print width configurations, and utilizes a web control system from Grafisk Maskinfabrik, Denmark.

Barcom Industries started business in 2002 with a used Mark Andy 830 press, followed by Scout, a fleet of Mark Andy 2200 presses. Today, the company houses several Mark Andy Performance Series P5 presses. It also houses eight Rotoflex inspection slitter rewinders with 100% fault detection systems.

At Labelexpo India 2018, Monotech also launched its newly developed digital label printing press – Jetsci KolorSmart.
