Cosmo Films, a global leader in specialty films for flexible packaging, labeling and lamination applications, and synthetic paper, has introduced CSPR-2 (M) O BTC – a 100% opaque synthetic paper (OSP) which is specially designed for dangler applications.

A non-tearable, co-extruded, white opaque, and both sides matte coated film which resembles paper in appearance is best suited for outdoor applications where printing is done on both sides and requires 100% opacity. With remarkable moisture resistance, this white opaque paper yields superior ink adhesion and exceptional color reproducibility.

Matteness on both sides of the product makes it appear similar to paper and offers an excellent print quality and true color output. Its print receptive coating allows it to print on both sides by conventional and UV offset, UV and water-based flexographic, thermal transfer, and screen and letterpress printing processes.

Pankaj Poddar, CEO, Cosmo Films, said, “With boundless uses in commercial printing, retail and packaging, tags and labels, identification and credentials and outdoor displays and signage, CSP can create a niche for itself as a weather-proof replacement for paper in applications where durability and longevity are desired. Cosmo Films is the leading market player in India, and with this launch, we aim to grow in the Indian as well as international markets.”
