Comexi has recently established its Asia-Pacific hub in Bangkok, Thailand. The inauguration of the offices coincided with the celebration of Propak Asia on 15 June. The company also has plans to open hubs in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Monterrey, Mexico in the near future.

Comexi’s opening of this hub aligns with its strategic goals, which include prioritizing customer service and tailoring its portfolio and services to meet the specific needs of each market.

“The opening of the Thailand hub is an important event in regard to the almost 70 years of Comexi’s history. It is not only the inauguration of these offices, but it represents a pivotal moment to be increasingly present in the Asia Pacific. This is an emerging region that already has a capital weight in reference to the world economy; we want to achieve a leading position,” explains Pau Xifra, chief transformation officer. “Furthermore, it is a crucial milestone in the fruition of Comexi’s Vision 2030, as it aligns with the strategy of being in close proximity to our customers and being able to offer them the best possible solutions and services.”

The new Comexi Asia-Pacific hub has a spare parts warehouse, sales team, and technical services. “We will be able to respond with much more agility to the needs of our customers in Southeast Asia,” explains Alexander Astudillo, area manager of Comexi in the region.

Agustí Combis, the regional sales director for Comexi in the Asia-Pacific area, expresses his pride and satisfaction with the successful establishment of the hub. He acknowledges the historical significance of this milestone for Comexi and recognizes the tremendous opportunity it has created in the Asia-Pacific region.
