Cartes located in Moglia near Mantova, Italy has appointed New Delhi-based Weldon Celloplast as its exclusive agent for Indian subcontinent. Kanwardeep Sahni, managing director of Weldon, said, “Cartes offers extremely advanced converting equipment and specially their patented laser die cutting systems fit well into the technically evolving field of label converting where no tooling or dies are required. We are happy to join hands with them to bring their products to label converters in the region.”

Cartes offers an innovative range of technical finishing solutions for the roll label market. With more than 4,000 machines installed in 90 countries, the company company offers label machines with hot stamping, silk-screen printing, flexo printing/varnishing, flatbed die-cutting, semi-rotary die-cutting, embossing units and with exclusive laser technology for die-cutting and converting.

Luca Goldoni, international sales manager of Cartes, said, “Weldon is a very visible and established name in the label industry, we are looking forward to a fruitful business cooperation.”

Weldon Celloplast represents globally renowned manufacturers of printing equipment, tooling, inspection and waste management systems besides offering tamper evident security label materials.
