Brückner Servtec will present its latest service solutions and upgrade highlights at Plastindia 2026, New Delhi, (Hall 4/D30), 5–10 February 2026, to help film manufacturers achieve profitable and sustainable BO film production.
“India is a key market for Brückner Servtec, and returning to Plastindia is the perfect opportunity to strengthen our customer relationships while showcasing solutions that make a real difference in productivity and long-term success,” said Sebastian Lange, CEO, Brückner Servtec.
The new performance services provide fast on-site support for film manufacturers to increase efficiency, quality and sustainability. The one-day line inspection analyzes line processes to uncover hidden efficiency potential and includes immediately implementable optimization measures such as process parameter adjustments.
The three-day KPI check uses real operating data for an industry comparison of key performance indicators, including energy consumption, maintenance quality and productivity, resulting in conversion and service suggestions. The five-day performance boost delivers profound process optimization focused on increased production output, improved energy efficiency and knowledge transfer, with additional approaches to quality improvements and the development of future-oriented film types. In comparable applications, the line yield was increased by up to 40%.
Meanwhile, modular upgrades for line transformation and product expansion offer targeted retrofit solutions for tomorrow’s state-of-the-art BO film stretching lines. The inline coating upgrade (ILC) enables nanometer-range layer thicknesses with new formulations that improve printability and significantly enhance the barrier properties of BOPP films; more than 25 ILC systems have been sold in recent years, supporting the production of recyclable mono-material packaging in line with EU Regulation 2025/40 on packaging and packaging waste (PPWR).
The PLA/PHA upgrade is based on an enhanced line conversion concept that identifies PET and PA lines as the most suitable candidates for adaptation to home-compostable bioplastic film production, allowing film manufacturers to meet rising consumer and regulatory requirements while opening new opportunities in sustainable packaging.
Local clip and chain refurbishment for Indian customers is being expanded as Brückner Servtec, together with Brückner Group India (BGI), now provides refurbishment services for nearly all chain, roller, and sliding systems – including the high-speed sliding chain track system FOK 8.8. Customers send their components directly to BGI, where a professional, fast, and sustainable cleaning process is carried out. This ensures long-lasting chain track performance and optimized film production.
