Swedish packaging company Boxon has established a local warehouse and production facility in Morocco, offering industrial packaging solutions produced closer to customers. The setup is intended to reduce lead times, increase supply chain flexibility, and enable closer collaboration with customers in the region.

The company said operations are fully up and running following its earlier expansion into the country. The facility produces both standard and customized packaging solutions tailored to customer requirements across sectors, including automotive, food, and agriculture.

“With our operations now up and running in Morocco, we can support our customers with locally produced solutions that improve efficiency and reduce dependency on long-distance supply chains,” said Linus Lemark, chief executive officer at Boxon Group.

In addition to industrial packaging, Boxon offers a range of packaging consumables – including stretch film, plastic returnable boxes, and tape – with the aim of providing customers a single-supplier option for their packaging needs.

“Our ambition is to be a long-term partner to our customers in Morocco, offering not just products, but complete packaging solutions that support their growth,” Lemark added.
