Avery Dennison India has been certified by Great Place to Work India as a Workplace with Inclusive Practices. Avery Dennison has also been recognized as one among the Top 10 – India’s Best Workplaces in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion 2021. This recognition is a testimony to the commitment of the leaders and employees of the organization to progress on this journey of Equity, Inclusion and Diversity which is deeply acknowledged as the true bedrock of innovation and sustainable business performance.

As a global authority on workplace culture, Great Place to Work has been studying employee experience and people practices across organizations for over three decades. Every year, more than 10,000 organizations from over 60 countries partner with Great Place to Work Institute for assessment, benchmarking and planning of actions to strengthen their workplace culture.

First-of-its-kind in the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion space, the Workplace Inclusion Index was launched by Great Place to Work Institute India, in partnership with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in 2021. The Study captures the experience of over 1,00,000 employees, of which 34% belong to historically excluded communities (including individuals who identify as women, other gender identities, LGBTIQA+, persons with disabilities, veterans, individuals returning from a career break, and other under-represented minorities in the country). Certified workplaces were further evaluated to arrive at India’s Best Workplaces in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion 2021. Certified workplaces were further evaluated to arrive at India’s Best Workplaces in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion 2021 on the basis of inclusive practices that cut across diverse demographic groups, adequate representation from diverse groups and also their employees’ experience of inclusion and sense of belonging in the workplace.

Great Place to Work India has released a research report that has thoroughly studied the landscape of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in India. The report and the associated recognition from this study can be viewed here.
