Synchropack presents three packaging solutions at IBA 2025

-

Synchropack, specialized in flowpack packaging for the food industry, will highlight three innovative solutions for bakery and confectionery products at its IBA stand – the Pack 900-RT flowpack wrapper, the SAF edge cookie feeder, and a high-speed rotary transfer of cookies into stacks.

Synchropack, a leading company in flowpack packaging solutions with more than 35 years in the industry, will participate in the next edition of IBA 2025. This is the most important trade fair for suppliers and manufacturers of machinery for the bakery and confectionery industry, and will be held at the Messe Düsseldorf exhibition center from 18 to 22 May 2025. The Spanish company will be present at stand D21 in Hall 9 to showcase its packaging solutions designed to meet the specific needs of the baked goods and snacks sector, whether sweet or savory.

At this edition, Synchropack will take advantage of its participation at IBA to reinforce its positioning as a specialist in the design and manufacture of customized packaging lines, with an offer aimed especially at manufacturers of bakery and confectionery products seeking to optimize their production processes with reliable, fast, and adaptable solutions.

“The confectionery and bakery industries are in full transformation due to demands in sustainability, food safety, and energy efficiency,” said Michele Palma, CEO of the company.

Among the innovations to be seen on the stand is a high-speed rotary transfer, designed for the automatic positioning of cookies or other similar products. This equipment reaches speeds of up to 200 products per minute, guaranteeing a smooth and accurate transfer even on demanding production lines, and ensuring perfect synchronization with the packaging system.

Lucas Palma, CMO of Synchropack and director of the Barcelona Packaging Hub, believes that “Bringing to the IBA the industrial innovation that is being developed in Barcelona and Spain is a way to position ourselves on the global map.”

Synchropack will also bring an automatic loading system, the SAF (Slug Automatic Feeder), which is installed at the end of the customer’s production lines to sort the products before they enter the wrapping machine. Its function is to create portions of cookies or toast and transfer them to the wrapper. This intelligent system allows continuous, orderly, and synchronized feeding, reducing manual intervention and improving overall line performance.

Oriol Llargués, Sales Director, adds, “IBA is a strategic opportunity to strengthen the relationship with our existing customers and establish new links with manufacturers from all over the world. Being here allows us to better understand their needs and show them the added value of our solutions.”

The third machine presented is the Pack 900 RT flowpack wrapper for wrapping solid and semi-solid products at medium and high outputs. This robust and versatile flow-wrapper, ideal for packaging individual or grouped products, stands out for its precision in sealing and cutting, ease of maintenance, and high degree of customization according to customer requirements.

Synchropack’s presence at IBA 2025 underlines the company’s commitment to innovation, automation,n and technical excellence, pillars on which it has built its international reputation in the field of flowpack packaging. Professionals visiting the stand will be able to discover live the advantages of these solutions and learn about the full range of services offered by the company to support its customers at every stage of the production process.
