Amonn installs Durst TAU G3 Core

Amonn Print Factory has installed the Durst TAU G3 Core, in the process becoming among the first companies to adopt the digital press.

Durst said the TAU G3 Core offers high productivity, printing up to 80 m/min and around 60 m/min with white ink at 1200 × 1200 dpi, representing a 20% productivity increase compared to previous technology. Lower white ink consumption allows jobs to be efficiently transferred from older systems.

Advanced solutions such as Durst ARC (Automatic Register Control) and Durst MEP (Material Edge Protection) ensure stable production, protect printheads, and enhance overall reliability. The new LED technology makes the press quieter and more sustainable, meeting the growing environmental requirements of Amonn Print Factory’s customers.

Supported by fast, reliable customer service and a long-standing partnership with Durst, the TAU G3 Core marks a significant step forward for Amonn Print Factory – combining innovation, sustainability, and one of the highest quality standards in the industry.

Christian Bortolin, general manager of Amonn Print, said, “We are among the first companies to have chosen the Tau G3 Core. It is a high-performance machine that has delivered excellent results and is particularly well-suited to the food industry. The sector in which we specialize from a technical standpoint.

The new software is more intuitive, simple and easy to read, with a more appealing design. I must say I am extremely satisfied with this new machine. We are able to reach full production speed almost immediately. At maximum speed, the machine achieves very high productivity.”
