Agra’s Gyan Digital Graphics confirms second Komori

-

Gyan Digital Graphics in Agra, a service bureau known for supplying the best-quality CtCP plates to printers in and around the city of Taj, eventually switched to commercial printing last year in April with the strategic investment in a brand new Komori Enthrone 429. It marked a remarkable beginning of the company’s printing business with the all-new compact and high-end sheet-fed 29-inch offset press that so far pulls a horde of highly quality-conscious clients.

“Of course, after the installation of Enthrone 429 last year, we immediately started roping in a handful of clients from the key sectors like healthcare and electronics,” says Gyanendra Kumar Gautam, Partner at Gyan Digital Graphics. Gyanendra is joined by his brother Vikas Kumar Gautam as a partner in the business. A team of highly skilled and experienced printing and production professionals is behind the company’s printing division.

Gyanendra mentions, “As long as the demands for quality prints from our clients have been increasing manifold over the last few months, we finally decided to add just another Komori press to our facility. This is the reason why we have booked for the brand new Enthrone 429, which is scheduled to complete its installation by January 2026. What we anticipate now is that the new Komori press will totally boost our production volume as needed.”

Incepted as a service bureau in the year 2007, Gyan Digital Graphics’ foray into the realm of commercial printing with the installation of the brand new Enthrone 429 is a bold step to explore the market by providing highly innovative and vivid colour graphics and a range of finished print products which any other conventional printers in Agra and around cannot deliver. Gyanendra says they have built up their confidence to do it so seamlessly because they are going to run twin highly capable Komori presses soon.

Recalling his early encounter with the brand Komori, Gyanendra says, “It was in the year 2021 at a trade expo in Mumbai, I came to know about Komori’s competency and advantages over other sheet-fed offset presses. After that, we contacted Komori India and discussions were going on. Everyone at Komori India is so humble, cooperative, and encouraging. Even if we give a call to any one of them in odd hours, like midnight, they respond. This is the amiability of this company and one of the main reasons why we are going for the second brand new Enthrone 429.”

According to Gyanendra, they hopped here and there to compare and contrast around 4-5 brands of presses before they finalised with the Komori. “None of the brands but Komori was impressive when we cross-checked the features and capabilities of each press we picked up as choices and options,” he adds. Enthrone 429 can operate at the speed of 13,000sph (sheets per hour) for printing on sheets from 0.04mm to 0.6mm.

Gyanendra mentions that the brand new Enthrone 429, which they are now eagerly waiting for its arrival in January next year, is filled with some new and upgraded features that will help them further enhance prints to a new level. “After all, we would like to convey our message now to our valued clients that let’s celebrate the New Year 2026 with the new Komori press at Gyan Digital Graphics.”
