Perhaps those bank checks you have signed, competitive exam sheets for your children, bingo tickets that won you fabulous prizes, and many such prints might have been produced by Utility Forms. Over the last four decades, Utility Forms has been involved in security, variable data, and IT-enabled printing, carried out at its network of five major, well-equipped production facilities at different locations, including Greater Noida in Delhi-NCR, where a Kodak Veriset T800 platesetter is being installed to set a new benchmark in the company’s pre-press process.

The Kodak Veriset T800 platesetter, now operating stably and efficiently at Utility Forms, was supplied and installed by Monotech Systems, a leading machine manufacturer and one-stop solution provider for the global printing and packaging industry. Ashish Agarwal, director of Utility Forms, said, “We chose the Kodak Veriset T800 thermal CtP system for its remarkable stability, accuracy, and eco-friendliness in thermal platemaking. The Kodak brand is renowned for never disappointing in technological advancements and user satisfaction.”

He adds, “We are delighted with our newly purchased Kodak Veriset T800 platesetter from Monotech Systems. This thermal CtP system transcends the conventional plate-making process, being truly process-free, and it aligns with our sustainability goals by helping us reduce our environmental impact. The Kodak Veriset T800 platesetter is an ideal ‘green’ thermal CtP system with lower power consumption and reduced waste release. In fact, this platesetter minimizes waste by delivering the most accurate, precise, and stable plates.”

The Kodak Veriset T800 is designed to achieve stable plate-making at a throughput resolution of 2400 dpi, producing up to 22 eight-page plates per hour. Equipped with the TH5 head, the Kodak thermal CtP system ensures more precise and accurate dot imaging, resulting in higher tonal stability and uniform exposure. The system is compatible with a broad range of thermal plates, making it suitable for diverse printers in various markets. This includes commercial printers, packaging printers, and specialty printing companies like Utility Forms, which is engaged in the printing and production of highly specialized prints.

Incorporated in the year 1982, Utility Forms is the brainchild of a core team of three highly qualified and committed founders – Praveen Agarwal, Late Shri Gopal Agarwal, and Rajeev Mathur. “It’s a privilege for me to be part of the continuing legacy of Utility Forms. My father, Mr. Praveen Agarwal, introduced me to the business, and I am now overseeing our Greater Noida unit where the new Kodak Veriset T800 platesetter is installed as part of our constant upgrading of machine portfolios and technologies, says Ashish.

When it comes to the productivity and operation of Utility Forms’ production facilities, the company’s units, spread across pan India in Delhi, Greater Noida, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata, are fully equipped with an array of the latest high-end machines and processes, including the newly installed Kodak Veriset T800. “Our customers, spanning various industries and geographies – both domestic and international – require us to maintain stringent quality controls at all our production facilities to ensure we deliver what we promise,” he adds.

Driven by the satisfaction of their customers, Utility Forms, a fully integrated printing company, not only offers end-to-end security printing and variable data printing but also provides high-quality commercial printing, publishing printing, and paper stationery products for clientele in diverse sectors, including banking, aviation, education, modern retail, hospitality, logistics, manufacturing, finance, etc. “Over the years, we have strived to provide our customers with specialty prints that deliver quality using advanced machines and technologies like the Kodak Veriset T800. We are grateful to Monotech Systems for this pre-press marvel and their unconditional after-sales service support,” he concludes.
