UPM Raflatac appoints Brinder Gill as SVP for Americas Region

UPM Raflatac has announced the appointment of Brinder Gill as the new senior vice president (SVP) of the Americas Region, effective 1 August 2024. Gill, who is currently the director of the Paper Laminates Business Unit for the Americas, brings considerable knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm to his new role.

Gill’s tenure with UPM Raflatac has been marked by outstanding contributions in various roles, demonstrating his commitment to excellence and commercial success. As the former East Area sales director for the Americas, he has a proven track record of driving growth and efficiency. Prior to UPM Raflatac, Gill was the senior manager of global beauty category marketing at Silgan Dispensing Systems.

Gill will be a member of the UPM Raflatac management team and will report directly to Tim Kirchen, executive vice president of UPM Raflatac. “Brinder’s proven sales leadership and comprehensive understanding of our business make him the ideal choice for this role. I am confident that he will lead the Americas Region into its next phase of profitable growth with energy and passion,” said Kirchen.

“I am both excited to assume the position of SVP and humbled by the confidence that UPM has shown in my ability to lead the Americas team. I am looking forward to the opportunity to support our teams, customers and partners across the region,” said Gill.
