UFlex’s Printing Cylinders business receives the prestigious IFCA Star Awards 2024

UFlex, India’s largest multinational flexible packaging and solutions company, has been conferred with ten awards at the IFCA Star Awards 2024, the highest among all entrants. UFlex’s diverse portfolio was recognized across multiple businesses, with the printing cylinders business winning four awards. Additionally, the packaging films, holography, and chemicals businesses each won two awards – a testimony to the company’s focus on innovation across the spectrum of the packaging industry.

The IFCA Star Awards, organized by the Indian Flexible Packaging and Folding Carton Manufacturers Association (IFCA), celebrate excellence in packaging design, functionality, graphics, eco-friendly solutions, new materials, and technological concepts. These awards recognize and promote innovation and creativity within the industry, encouraging advancement and development in packaging solutions.

UFlex’s outstanding performance at the 2024 awards include:

  • 2K reverse chemistry solvent-free medium-performance polyurethane adhesive (Flexbon R110A/Flexbon R110C)
  • “F-ULP” transparent high barrier BOPET film for flexible packaging applications for see-through food products
  • Crocodile skin patterns on artificial leather (PU/PVC) through laser-embossed cylinders
  • Intricate vines and floral design on artificial leather through laser-embossed cylinders
  • Tangled threads design on artificial leather through laser-embossed cylinders
  • Grid weave pattern on artificial leather through laser-embossed cylinders
  • HRI sequins films for premium textile applications
  • Flexgreen Sheetfed ‘Bio’ series for offset application (with >45% BRC)
  • Thinner environment-friendly stamping foil innovation for cold and hot application
  • F-UHB-M metallic polyester ultra-high barrier film for aluminum foil replacement
