Vinsak, the exclusive distributor of Lombardi presses in the Indian sub-continent, has announced the sale of Lombardi 430 press to Mumbai-based Total Print Solutions.

This 10-color press with a ‘Bravo’ flat screen unit is expected to get installed at the printer’s factory in Mumbai in December 2018. Other features on the press include cold foil unit, delam, relam, web turnbar, chill drums for priting upto 12 micron unsupported film, web cleaner, two stations of die-cutting, sheeter and conveyor.

The company has also opted for a 430 mm wide Vinsak USAR slitter rewinder to complement the press. Equipped with Lay on rollers and a dual rewind, this will be able to handle all the substartes that the Lombardi Synchroline can print.

Ranesh Bajaj, director at Vinsak, said, ‘We are delighted to have sold these machines to Sandeep Zaveri who is the recent past president of LMAI. I have a personal attachment to his company as in the year 1991, I had visited his erstwhile venture Preeti Arts and provided technical service to his Iwasaki RUH machine that his father and he then owned and operated.”

“Lombardi and Vinsak have a achieved reasonable success in these markets as in Lombardi, we have found a technically efficient an superior product offered at competitive price points. Massimo’s team have been excellent in creating new solutions tailored to these markets and have offered excellent ease of operation features with their unique software solutions. We hope to grow the market size in 2019 by adding presses upto a width of 820 mm at the top end while still upgrading our semi servo Flexoline model to a full servo Flexoline Plus. Exciting times for the Indian converors and equally exciting for us to be a major part of the market growth.”
