The Xeikon Café attracts digital thermal transfers pioneer Diamond Photofoil

-

Advantages of digital thermal transfers using premium foil and automated application systems will be presented by Diamond Photofoil at the Xeikon Café Packaging Innovations 2017, set for 28 to 31 March. A range of applications for digital transfer printing will be shown on a wide variety of products including pens, packaging tubes, ice buckets, and point-of-sale displays.

Established since 1968, the UK Diamond Photofoil has developed into a leading company in the specialist sector of full-colour digital printing on plastic components, and for more than ten years has successfully built a market for plastic decoration using a Xeikon 3000 digital press. During the Xeikon Café, applications for Diamond’s Photofoil high-resolution digital transfers applied in automated printing lines for tube products such as pen barrels and cosmetic packaging will be demonstrated live.

David Hitch, Managing Director of Diamond Photofoil shares why the company opted for the Xeikon Café: “We are a pioneer in heat transfer label decoration, an application that doesn’t really have an exhibition platform for us to illustrate its uniqueness and strength as a unique decoration method. We see Xeikon Café as an exceptional opportunity to demonstrate our capability to a broader audience and provide a deeper understanding of the concept to attendees.”

The revolutionary Photofoil digital printed transfers
Developed by Diamond, Photofoil digital printed transfers provide full colour photorealistic printing for plastics with no origination cost and short lead times direct from digital artwork. Other advantages include no solvents or wet inks, full 360 degree wrap, and full automation.

Visitors to the Xeikon Café will witness the benefits of Xeikon-based digital thermal transfers using the Diamond Photofoil premium foil and automated application systems. The demonstrated machine will show systems separate and load the product, product orientation, cleaning, and digital heat transfer application. David Hitch will also deliver an informative presentation during the Xeikon Café technical conference about Diamond Photofoil digital transfer for rigid thermoplastic products.
