Speaking about the future of Chinese machinery in India, Chen said, “The Indian packaging market is growing, and at the same time, the Chinese technology is fast improving in terms of performance and productivity. Also, Chinese machines come at an affordable price. So, I see a very bright future for Chinese machinery in India. Also, since India comes under the One Belt One Road (OBOR) initiative of the Chinese government, we get a lot of support from our government.” The One Belt One Road is the brainchild of the Chinese president Xi Jinping, and is an ambitious project that focuses on improving connectivity and cooperation among multiple countries spread across the continents of Asia, Africa, and Europe.
