
Taurus Packaging, a shrink sleeve packaging company, celebrated two milestones in 2026 – its 30th anniversary and the 70th birthday of founder and chairman Rajesh Jain – at an event attended by 300+ industry leaders. The company credited the occasion to the support of its clients, partners, and employees.
The evening was hosted by managing director and chief executive officer Chetan Jain and his wife Priyanka Jain. The program included a retrospective of Taurus Packaging’s 30-year history, a video tribute from employees to the chairman, and an audiovisual presentation on the company’s future direction. Rajesh Jain addressed the gathering, expressing gratitude for the recognition and support.
The dual milestone of 30 and 70 years served as the theme for the event. . The showstopper of the night was the Police Band. The Police Band performed as the evening’s headline act, and the venue featured music and décor described by the company as reflecting the celebratory spirit of the occasion. According to the company, the event was intended to foster friendship, partnership, and industry collaboration among attendees.
Rajesh Jain holds a mechanical engineering degree from MMM Engineering College, Gorakhpur. He began his career in packaging in 1986 and founded Taurus in 1995, initially as a packaging material trading company. The firm transitioned into manufacturing and entered the printing industry in 2006, with Rajesh Jain’s acquisition of North India’s first CI-Flexo press marking a significant step in the company’s growth.
The company states that Rajesh Jain was the first to introduce OPS shrink sleeves, LDPET stretch sleeves, LDPET shrink sleeves, and PLA shrink sleeves to the Indian packaging market.
