Sree Vinayaga upgrades with Kodak CtP and Sonora process free plates

-

Sree Vinayaga Screens, a reputed commercial offset and packaging printing company in South India, with a legacy of nearly 40 years, has upgraded its prepress operations with the installation of Kodak’s CtP solution and Sonora Process Free Plates, backed by the service and technical support of Insight Print Communications. This move has resulted in better print quality, consistency, shorter turnaround time, and sustainability in both commercial and packaging production.

Established by industry expert RM Lakshminarayanan, the company, over the years, has turned into a fully-fledged printing house offering world-class technology, including the Heidelberg Speedmaster Anicolor and the newest HUV Komori press. Having a competent team of more than 40 professionals, the company is constantly upgrading its customers with high-quality printing solutions in South India.

“The CtP product from Kodak has been a perfect match for our requirements in terms of automation, precision, and durability,” said L Ramanathan, managing partner, Sree Vinayaga Screens.

“By attaching it to the Sonora Process Free Plates, we have been able to maintain high image quality consistently, reduce the turnaround time, and achieve smoother press performance, which is particularly true for our packaging works.”

The switch to Sonora Process Free Plates has made the production process less complicated by doing away with chemical treatment and at the same time, the consumption of water, energy, and chemicals has been reduced – thus, the company is very much on track with its sustainability objectives.

“The packaging jobs that keep the pressure on for the short timeline and require tight color consistency from one run to another, Kodak technology has been the answer with excellent results,” explained Kalyani, managing partner. “We have noticed spoiling materials less, faster preparing the machine to print the next job, and client satisfaction has gone up.”

“Insight team was very proactive and reliable from installation, through training to regular support,” said Ramanathan. “Their fast response, technical skillful, customer-oriented approach have made our production work easy and kept our mind at rest.”

“We at Insight Print Communications emphasize not merely on the provision of technology but on establishing lasting partnerships through dependable service and support,” said Raja S Kochhar national sales manager, Kodak. “We are very happy to partner with Sree Vinayaga Screens in their journey to unlock highest production, efficient utilization of time, and cost-effectiveness from their Kodak purchases.”

Sree Vinayaga Screens has teamed up with Kodak for almost a decade now, and along with the steady service and support from Insight Print Communications, the company is thriving in an environment of trust, security, and high performance.
