At Plastasia 2022, SG Edge promoted its host of packaging machines including its narrow web flexo press servo/UV; rotary die-cutting with slitter; high-speed flat-bed die cutting machine; label inspection machine; single-, double- and four-shaft servo slicer machine for masking tapes, PVC insulation tapes, and foam tapes. The company also promoted its automatic BOPP tape slitting machine and automatic paper core cutting machine. The company was also promoting its used machinery segment.

SG Edge represents multiple manufacturing companies and predominantly supplies full rotary CI letterpress, semi-rotary (intermittent) letterpress, narrow web flexo press, roll-to-roll screen printing machine, etc. The company also deals in refurbished machines.

Santosh Kumar of SG Edge said, “Despite the economic slowdown, people are investing in capacity building. During last one year, we sold a good number of brand new and refurbished machinery. Inflationary pressure on packaging materials will continue to rise in 2022. Most companies now realize that they will need to find ways to inject agility and resilience into their organizations. Supply chain disruptions are likewise expected to persist.”

Kumar added, “This is our first exhibition since Covid. The footfall at the event is good and we are happy with it. Many old customers whom we were unable to meet in person for the last two years have visited our stand – that’s a great experience.”
