Pune-based Sai Paks India has chosen a Rhyguan SMART-450 slitter-rewinder with Luster 100% inspection camera from Flexo Image Graphics (FIG) – a leading distributor and service provider of flexo presses and associated equipment from Rhyguan, Mark Andy, Rotoflex, Luster, Kluge, KDS Quantum, Presstek, etc. in the Indian sub-continent.
Formerly called Sai Arts, incorporation of Sai Paks is dated back to 1991. “We started from scratch, merely engaging in manual screen printing at the outset,” recalls Deepan Samarth, managing director of Sai Paks India. “Since then we have consistently upgraded our machine portfolio and elevated our business to the next level.” Samarth is joined by his two sons in the business – Tejas Samarth and Tushar Samarth as directors of Sai Paks India.
Current machine portfolios at the two production facilities of Sai Paks at Chinchwad and Talawde in Pune consist of offset presses from Heidelberg and Shinohara, flexo press from Zonten, rotogravure presses from Sanmach, Mark Andy from FIG, and so on. Among which the Rhyguan SMART-450 is one of the key machines running efficiently for post-press process. “We opted for this cutting-edge Rhyguan slitting & rewinding machine from FIG for its cost-effectiveness,” says Deepan Samarth.
He adds, “We would rather say Rhyguan SMART-450 is very economical as we never worried about its ROI. In fact, this 100% inspection slitter-rewinder machine with capacity to re-inspect up to 300m/min is reasonably priced when compared to others in its class. In addition to its cost-effectiveness, Rhyguan Smart 450 is fully packed with advanced features which every standard slitter-rewinder must have.”
