Rotocon and HS Machinery partner to advance label flexo innovation

Rotocon and HS Machinery have entered into an agreement to drive innovation in the label flexo printing and finishing industry. The official agreement was signed on 24 April 2025 by Michael Aengenvoort, Rotocon Group CEO, and Ruan Jinshu, CEO of HS Machinery, and witnessed by Marco Aengenvoort, Rotocon Europe managing director, and Mark Zheng, sales manager of HS Machinery.

By combining German engineering excellence with advanced, cost-effective production in a state-of-the-art facility in China, the companies have created an extensive portfolio of printing and finishing machines offering high customisation, top-tier quality, and international compliance – all at a competitive price. The initial collaboration between the two companies began in 2019.

“From the beginning, Rotocon played a crucial role in shaping the design, engineering, and production of HS’s advanced flexo printing presses,” said Michael Aengenvoort, Rotocon Group CEO. “We didn’t just distribute the machines; we helped design them. Our expertise has been deeply integrated into the process, ensuring that every flexo printing machine meets the highest safety and quality standards, including CE compliance, German TÜV, and DIN ISO 9001 certifications.

“Today, more than 200 of the latest high-end version flexo machines have been sold worldwide, with multiple customers investing in their second and third machine – a testament to strong customer satisfaction and trust in our high-performance flexo printing technology.”

Under the partnership, Rotocon will lead product development and market expansion, sales and service, key account management with international label groups, exhibitions and event organisation outside of Asia, implementing cutting-edge online support technologies, and establishing a customer-driven Board of Excellence.

To provide exceptional support, Rotocon and HS Machinery have established an international service network with a team of 28 skilled technicians worldwide, as well as advanced online support, ensuring seamless remote assistance. The comprehensive service infrastructure ensures customers receive expert support alongside their premium European-engineered machines.

Building on the success of their joint venture, Rotocon and HS Machinery are forging an even stronger collaboration to drive innovation, enhance production capacity, and expand their global reach.
