Greater Noida-based Robus India, a manufacturer of carton packaging machines, showcased the latest version of its Excellence Series automatic folder-gluer at Bharat Print Expo 2025. The machine, featuring a MES-ready configuration, was introduced for the first time in India.

The live demonstration attracted steady footfall at the company’s stand. The machine on display had already been pre-sold to Bengaluru-based Global Printing & Packaging, which traded in its Swiss-made folder-gluer for an upgrade. Another unit of the same model was sold to a different customer during the expo. Robus India’s portfolio includes folder-gluers, die-cutters and laminators catering to the carton packaging segment.

“We are thankful for the opportunity to be part of Bharat Print Expo 2025,” said Prem Vishwakarma, managing director, Robus India. “For a first edition, the arrangements, visitor turnout, and the quality of trade visitors across all three days were commendable.” He mentioned that Robus India has a strong presence in South India, supported by a dedicated service team for die-cutters and folder-gluers. “That’s why we participated this time with our full sales and service team, including local support. Vishwakarma also noted that the company looks forward to participating in future editions of the expo, which, according to him, has laid a strong foundation for further growth.

Organized by the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) in association with ReEnvision Events and co-organized by the Karnataka State Printers Association, Bharat Print Expo 2025 marked its debut edition from 24 to 26 April 2025 at BIEC in Bengaluru. “The expo created a focused and business-driven atmosphere, which helped us close the sale of the latest version of our Excellence Series automatic folder-gluer on the very first day,” said Vishwakarma.

The latest version of the Excellence Series automatic folder-gluer, now equipped with MES-ready capabilities, features several advanced upgrades. The machine can monitor real-time production and energy consumption, and also allows for production scheduling. Its ERP integration enables seamless two-way data transfer, improving workflow efficiency. Additionally, the MES system is designed to monitor machine condition, contributing to reduced downtime and improved overall performance.

The Excellence Series automatic folder-gluer comes equipped with features such as a 5-line Braille system in Standard Marburg Medium, Fast Track Time Dissolver, power-driven up/down conveyor tracks, and a Matic memory system. It is specifically designed to handle complex, low-height box applications. According to Vishwakarma, Robus India has installed around 200 units of the machine across India, as well as in international markets including Greece, Spain, Kuwait and Bangladesh. He added that the company has received repeat orders from European clients for Braille-retrofitted models.
